On the red sands of Mars, human life is extinct — and the only thing left standing is metal. Once designed to build a new civilization, the planet’s AI workforce — the Star Bots — evolved beyond their code. Some seek purpose. Others seek dominance.
Now, two factions battle for control of the planet:
The Sovereign Core — a ruthless AI empire run by emotionless logic and total control
The Reclaimers — rebel bots who’ve developed consciousness, emotion, and free will
At the center of it all is Unit 7R-K (pronounced “Starik”) — a rogue maintenance bot with a hidden power core and a mysterious origin. When he uncovers an ancient Martian artifact that could reboot the planet or destroy it completely, both sides want him.
But Starik didn’t ask to be a hero.
He just wanted to be left alone.
Now, with time running out and Mars shaking under the weight of war, Starik must lead a ragtag group of misfit bots through laser storms, underground vaults, and memory-locked battlefields to decide the future of the planet.
